Not necessarily a happy track, but an honest one. Humanity has so much potential but it goes largely unrealised due to self-interest, fear, and a lack of compassion at both a personal, but especially a societal, level.
I think it's important to recognise just how far we've fallen short- it's only in recognising our faults that we can start to address them. At the same time, hope is one of the enduring qualities of our human existence, and it's my hope that as a society we can still change for the better- for our entire planet.
